GeneReach will launch EMS detection series products soon.

GeneReach is pleased to announce we have entered into a Technology Transfer and an Exclusive License Agreement with University of Arizona to develop diagnostic tests for Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Disease (AHPND) developed at Dr. Donald Lightner’s Laboratory. AHPND, also known as Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS), is an epidemic disease that damages the digestive system of shrimps and causes mortality, and has impacted the shrimp farming industry significantly.
There are three diagnostic systems available from GeneReach now. They are IQ2000® for conventional nested PCR, IQ REAL for realtime PCR and IQ Plus for point-of-need iiPCR, to cover the different demands of AHPND/EMS prevention.
The above products based on Dr. Lightner’s method, which has been used to diagnose samples worldwide including Asia, South and Central America. GeneReach will continue to work with Dr. Lightner for updated EMS information and discovery. We will keep you updated on our progress.
